Harav Yaakov Perlow Shlita, called upon the Torah world not to be callous or apathetic about the difficult situation that אחינו בני ישראל are enduring in ארץ ישראל.
It is our imperative to continue the tefilos and tehillim, beseeching the אב הרחמן to protect Klal Yisroel and Eretz yisroel.
The indulgence in fun and excessive comfort robs us from the virtue and perhaps the obligation to be נושא בעול עם חבירו.
Many other Gedolei Yisroel signed unto the clarion call of the אדמו״ר of נובומינסק, Shlita.
Another major issue is that we need to be mechazek ourselves and avoid the temptation to speak loshon hora with the twisted logic that every blog is לתועלת.
If the Chofetz Chaim זצ״ל were alive today he would be astounded at the Halachic abuse of לתועלת.
